β-Botz
β-Botz (Beta-Botz) is our beginner robotics program for Pre-Primary to Year 3+. β-Botz students explore, create and program robots to interact with the environment around them. Students will complete projects using the robotic sensors and learn about the mechanics of simple machines.
δ-Botz
δ-Botz (Delta-Botz) is our comprehensive robotics program for Year 4 to Year 8+. δ–Botz students learn to design, build, code and run robots using basic principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Students learn to operate the more advanced robotic functions and complete master challenges that display their skills.
Curriculum
Both β-Botz and δ-Botz have 3+ years of syllabus that support the Australian Curriculum. It progress from introduction to advanced concepts in STEM based learning. Students learn about Science in the lesson topics and in using the various sensors of the robots. Technology is utilised in running the class, communicating with the robots and in programming them. Students learn about Engineering principles in designing, building and coding the robots. Mathematical skills are acquired through the process of solving the challenges using a hands-on approach. All these STEM based principles are learnt in a fun and innovative environment.
T-Botz Learning uses the same robots as those used by the world leading Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy.
β-Botz students grow from guided to open projects, and move from graphical to text based coding. Additionally future lessons involve programming and game development.
δ-Botz students start with design engineering and advance to science and space themed challenges. They also progress from graphical to text based coding and are eventually taught game development.
